Preliminary Design
MTO is committed to an extensive consultation and engagement program that actively engages and involves members of the public, non-government organizations (NGOs), municipalities, First Nations, regulatory agencies, businesses and industry. As such, the Project Team welcomes comments regarding the Highway 11/17 four-laning project. All comments received, with the exception of personal information, will become part of the public record.

Public Information Centres (PICs)
External agency and public consultation will take place throughout the study, including two rounds of Public Information Centres (PICs).
PIC #1
The first PIC provided the opportunity for the public, agencies and stakeholders to review and comment on:
- The review of the previously EA approved plan;
- Potential changes to the previously EA approved highway alignment;
- Potential side road connection alternatives; and
- Updated environmental conditions.
Due to the on-going pandemic, PIC #1 is being held virtually. Persons requiring accommodation to review these materials are encouraged to contact the Project Managers to discuss accessibility requirements. Comments are requested by August 6, 2021 via the Contact Us page on this project website, or by contacting the Project Managers listed in the display boards. Please note comments are welcome at any time during the study.
